Yolanda graduated from Elyria High in 1946. She lived in Elyria, Lorain, Colombia, Missouri, as well as North Port, Florida. She was a member or Presbyterian church of Port Charlotte, Florida. As a child, she attended Magyar United Church of Christ on West River Street in Elyria.
Yolanda was a licensed realtor for 18 years, working mostly for Russell Realtors of Lorain, retiring in 1997.
Survivors include her niece, Joan Dumford of Monroe, Georgia; nephews, Jerry Zbydnowski of Powell, Ohio and Thomas Zbydnowski of Oberlin; two great-nephews; and one great-niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Callahan; her parents, Joseph and Lena Sumegi; and sister, Irene Zbydnowski.
There will be no visitation or viewing. Yolanda will buried Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
