Nathan Eugene Price, better known to friends and family as "Punk" passed away in Birmingham, Alabama on October 21, 2013 at the age of 68. Born in Jefferson County, he was the son of the late Nathan and Bessy Samples Price. He is also preceded in death by sisters, Maxine Katsarakis and Cindy Price; brothers, Jack Price, Joe Price and Alfred Price; and granddaughter, Christian Lee Stipes. Mr. Price retired as an auto paint and body technician. He is survived by daughters, Linda Weston (Noland) and Gena Stipes (Terry) both of Oneonta; sons, Jacky Price of Anniston, Keith Price of Oneonta and Tracy Price (Sheree) of Hayden; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Linda Sullivan (Raymond) of Cleveland. Gary McRay will officiate funeral services on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11AM from the Chapel of Lemley Funeral Home with burial following at Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Price will lie in state at Lemley Funeral Home on Friday from 9:30AM until service time.
