Dottie was born April 30, 1942, in Skidmore, Missouri to Roy and Ruth Reese Allen.
A graduate of Skidmore High School, she was a homemaker and had worked in various nursing homes.
She married Verlin Trimble November 6, 1964, in Maryville. They were later divorced.
Dottie was preceded in death by her father, Roy Allen and an infant sister, Emily Margaret Allen.
She is survived by her mother Ruth Allen, Burlington Junction, Missouri; four sons: Mark (Kim) Trimble, Ravenwood, Missouri; O.G. (Misty) Trimble, Maryville; Brent (Rachel) Trimble, Gallatin, Missouri; Michael (Bonnie)Trimble, Hopkins, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; four brothers: Jack Allen, Junction City, Kansas; Jim Allen, Soldotna, Alaska; Jerry Allen, Maryville; Rodney Allen, Skidmore; three sisters: Patricia Day, Skidmore; Shirley Hoyt and Beth Piveral, both of Burlington Junction.
Mrs. Trimble has been cremated. There will be no visitation.
Graveside Services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, October 26, 2013, at Hillcrest Cemetery, Skidmore, Missouri.
