Terry Lynn Hansen, 57, of Royal, passed away October 14, 2013 at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.

Terry Lynn Hansen, the son of Darwin and Jean (Shull) Hansen, was born January 28, 1956, in Clarion, IA. He graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1974 and soon moved to Storm Lake. Terry went to work for John Deere at Peterson and it was while in Peterson he met Becky Vinsand. The couple were united in marriage on August 13, 1983 at the Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt and made their home at Royal. Terry worked his whole life in the implement business for Massey Ferguson, Maurer Manufacturing and John Deere.

Terry was a member of the United Methodist Church at Royal. At his home he operated Terry's Putt Putt Painting and took great pride in his many tractor restorations and Damion loved to go for rides with "Papa" on his creations. He also enjoyed fishing, spending time with is friends, and his involvement at the Clay County Fair.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law, Ronnie and Randy Vinsand, and Richard Hussey.
