Nickie McManus Ford passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2013. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Cynthia Jean McManus was born May 5, 1941, in Fort Worth. She was a graduate of Trimble Tech High School. After completing cosmetology school, she became a beautician who worked at various shops in Fort Worth for over 30 years. She loved animals and had two cats and two dogs as pets. Nickie was a member of First United Methodist Church. Her father, John Mikel McManus, preceded her in death in 2012. Survivors: Mother, Elizabeth Dean McManus; and cousins, Martha Robnett, Elizabeth Ann Sulak and Judy Smith.
