Mr. George Lee Amerson, Jr. age 67, of Shelby, N.C., died October 31, 1989. He is survivied by former wife, Mrs. Mildred Amerson, of Alpharetta; daughter, Dawn McWhirter, of Shelby, N.C.; sons, Mr. Steve Amerson, of Atlanta; Mr. Greg Amerson, of Snellville; brother, Mr. Cullen Amerson, of Franklin, GA; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, November 2 at 1 p.m. at Wages Snellville Chapel. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. at Aragon City Cemetery in Aragon, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be donated to the Hospice of Cleveland County, 201 W. Marion St., Shelby N.C. 28150. Arrangements by Tom M. Wages, Snellville.
