LuAnn "Lucy" Jerzak, age 58, of Ivanhoe, MN, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013 at the Sanford Canby Medical Center in Canby, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30a.m. Friday, October 25th at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in Wilno, MN with Father Ron Huberty as celebrant. Visitation will be from 4 to 7p.m. on Thursday, October 24th at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in Wilno with rosary at 4p.m. and a prayer service at 7p.m.. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the St. John Cantius Catholic Church Cemetery near Wilno, MN. Family prefers memorials.

LuAnn Marie Jerzak was born on March 21, 1955 in Marshall, Minnesota to parents Edwin and Agnes (Verschelde) Steuck. She was baptized and confirmed at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. She graduated from Marshall High School in 1973. After graduation she went on to nursing school in Wilmar to become an LPN.

Lucy was united in marriage to Dan Jerzak on October 19, 1974 at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. To this union they were blessed with four children: Jessica, Corey, Curt and Doug. Together they raised their family on the Jerzak family farm near Wilno. Once the children were older she went back to work at the school and at the hospital in Ivanhoe. Lucy was a natural caregiver and loved kids. Lucy's family and friends will remember her for always being a kind, caring, giving and positive person.

Lucy loved raising beautiful flowers on the farm. She also enjoyed playing cards, board games and bean bags with family and friends. Entertaining family and friends with great food was known by many as one of Lucy's wonderful talents. Her door was always open and everyone was considered family in her eyes. Her artistic and creative abilities aided in her talents of cake decorating and interior decorating. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband to tractor pulls and doing kiddie tractor pulls all over the area and meeting so many new people.

She was a member of St. John Cantius Catholic Church where she was a member of the St. Joseph's circle.

Grateful for having shared Lucy's life is her husband of 39 years, Dan Jerzak of Ivanhoe; her 4 children: Jessica (Rick) Jordahl and their kids: Caden, Cason, Jasmine and Michael of Ivanhoe, Corey (fiancé, Joanna Stern) Jerzak of Marshall, Curt Jerzak of Minnetonka and Doug (Hayley) Jerzak and their kids: Destin and Rylee of Ivanhoe; her father, Edwin Steuck of Marshall; 1 sister, Monica (Paul) Cramer and their daughters, Jennifer and Laura of Fairfax, VA; her mother-in-law, Marge Jerzak of Ivanhoe; brothers and sisters-in-law: Duane (Carol) Jerzak of Milaca, MN, Diane Jerzak of Hendricks, Judy Lundquist of Longmont, CO, Jane (Al) Steffes of Hendricks, Sharon (Duane) Lundberg of Hulett, WY plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Steuck and her father-in-law, Nick Jerzak.
