He retired from General Hospital as a carpenter. He was a handyman and always was ready to help his friends and neighbors with any repairs or work that needed to be done.
Ed enjoyed riding his bicycle around town. He loved his cats Patches, Shadow and Pable.
Ed leaves no family, but leaves special friends that regarded him as part of their family - The Hessian and Campbell families and Barry Weaver.
Friends may call at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home Tuesday from 12 noon until 1:00 pm. No formal services will be held.
Following the viewing, he will be buried in Spring Forest Cemetery.
