Alva A. Hunt, Dies
After Heart Attack;
MONTICELLO- Final rites for
Alva A.Hunt 76, of north of Idaville
will be at two o'clock We-
nesday at the Miller funeral, fu-
neral home. The Reverend Virden
Graham will officiate and burial
will be in the Davis cemetery near
Burnettsville.
His death occurred Monday
morning at 9:50 a.m. at the home
of his daughter, Mrs. Merle Heiny,
who lives about two miles north
of his home. Feeling ill, he had
driven to her home where he ex-
expired of a heart seizure.
The retired farmer and stock
buyer was born May 18, 1879 near
Sheridan, Ind., son of John and
Hattie Hunt. In March, 1905 he
was married to Effie Tan, who
died in 1939.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs.
Merle Heiny; two grandchildren,
five brothers and a sisters:
Calvin, Buffalo;. Charles, Idaville;
Logan, Logansport; Elton, Royal
Center; Lester, Star City; Mrs.
Flossie Van Meter, Bufnettsville;
Mrs. Stella Tam, Logansport. One
son died in infancy.
