Sarah E. Tomlinson, 85, of Adams St, passed away the morning of October 22, 2013 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. On May 1, 1928, she was born in New Castle to the late John and Mary Colbert Bevan. Sarah married Fredrick C. Tomlinson, Sr. on September 4, 1946, and they spent many happy years together until he preceded her in death on January 12, 2002.

Sarah's life revolved around her children. Family was everything to her.

Sarah is survived by her children, Fred C. Tomlinson, Jr. and wife Zoey of Negley, OH, John Tomlinson and wife Cathy, Jean Means and husband David, Lesa Tomlinson, Dan Tomlinson and wife Debra, Mark Tomlinson and wife Veronica, and Linda Tomlinson, all of New Castle; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12noon to 2pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Services will be held Thursday at 2pm at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Dennis Bupp.

Interment will take place at Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
