Mrs. Pearl B. Bennett, of 903 W. 2nd St., died at 3:20 AM today at the family home after an illness of six months duration. Mrs. Bennett was born February 5, 1894 at Fitzgerald South Dakota. She was married to John E. Bennett at Marshalltown Iowa where she was a member of the Friends church. The family came to Davenport four years ago. Surviving besides the widower are three daughters, Carrie, Lois, and Georgia, one son Richard, all at home, two sisters Mrs. Myrtle Diedrick and Mrs. Tressie Brown, both of Davenport, and three brothers, Levi Harold and Clyde Harold, of Davenport, and George of Neil,Nebraska. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Saturday at the Runge Chapel with burial at Fairmount cemetery.
