Services will be held Thursday for filbert C. "Al" Brown, 69, of 205 Wood Creek, who died July 15 in the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital. Rev. Roger W. B. Baublit and Rev. Mickey White will officiate at services at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel and interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. A resident of Kerrville for the past seven years, Brown was born June 29 in Traskwood, Ark., and was a member of the Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Brown; four brothers, George Brown of Hope, Arkansas, Melvin Brown of Clarksville, Arkansas, Varhell Brown of Traskwood, Arkansas, and Doyle Brown of Benton, Arkansas; four sons, Jerry Brown of Bee Branch, Arkansas, Bob Brown of LaCrescent, Minnesota, Joe Brown of Arlington, Washington, and David Brown of Fredericksburg; four daughters, Marlene Baublit and Kay Dechert, both of Kerrville, Gloria Besette of Riverside, California, and Lynetta Henry of Anaheim, California; 24 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
