Cause of death: Auto accident (Single vehicle)
Age 24, passed away suddenly Saturday, October 19, 2013. Jamie was born May 3, 1989 in Allegan, the son of Mark and Robbie Barber. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time outdoors especially hunting for morels. He was always willing to help a friend out. Surviving are his parents; a daughter Haylee Sue Barber of Mattoon IL; siblings, Charles (Dawn) Barber of Jenison, Curtis Barber of Gobles, Janelle (Chad) Archer of Gobles, Dominic Barber; a grandmother, Janet Barker; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Daniel Barker and Max (Margie)Barber.
The family will meet friends on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the GOBLES CHAPEL, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1PM. Interment will follow in Robinson Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Michigan Parkinson Foundation or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Michigan.
