Mrs. Harper, 89, of Mansfield passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2010. She was born in Fairplay to James Franklin McHugh and Willie Mae Few McHugh on December 7, 1920. Mrs. Harper was the oldest living member of Beacon Heights Baptist Church. She had perfect attence at Sunday School for twenty-seven consecutive years. She was a clerk at Baldwin Drugs for a number of years. She loved her church, friends and caring for her family.
Mrs. Harper is survived by her brother Foster McHugh as well as a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband George Lee Harper.
