Steven J. Singleton, age 61, of Morris, was called home on Wednesday, April 7, 2010. His funeral service will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 1 p.m. with burial following at Castle Heights Cemetery. Bro. Steve Byrd officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Teresa Wade Singleton; daughter Brenda Singleton Hollis and her husband Keith; sons Alan McKinnon and Ernie McKinnon; grandchildren Lane Hollis, Tiffany Hollis, Marilyn Millican, Trent Millican, Kyle Hollis; sisters Judy Horton, Nelda McCleney (Harold); brothers Joe (Barbara) Singleton, William (Debbie) Singleton and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to the fourth floor Oncology nurses at St. Vincent's and Family Comfort Hospice.
