Lawrence Baker Lovell, 75, of Fort Meade died on October 27, 1988 at Polk General Hospital. Funeral services were held this morning at Eagle Lake Church of Christ with Rev. John Thomas officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade with D. L. Moody Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. He was a native of Athens, Alabama. He was a retired factory worker. He is survived by his widow, Minnie (Steelman) Lovell; his daughters, Clara McGinnis of Pontiac, Michigan and Minnie Hamblin of Bartow; his brothers, Earlie Nuel Lovell of Hillsboro, Alabama, Oel Noel Lovell and Vernon Lovell, both of Rogersville, Alabama, and Ralph Lovell of Athens, Alabama; twelve grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
