Judy A. Fletcher, age 66, of Ashland, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2013 at Essentia Health St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN. She was born November 22, 1946 in Washburn, the daughter of Edwin and Harriet (Stack) Brown.
Judy married Jim Fletcher on October 26, 1962 in Bessemer, Michigan. They lived in Green River, Wyoming for 12 years before moving back to the Ashland area in 1989. Judy enjoyed riding ATV's with her husband, going fishing and visiting family. She also was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking cookies. She is a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Ashland.
She is survived by her husband, Jim of Ashland, 2 sons, James (Kim) Fletcher - Florida and John (Wendy) Fletcher - Ashland, a daughter, Janice (Michael) Cieslar - LaBarge, Wyoming, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, David (Mary Kay) Brown - Ashland, Butch (Kriemhilde) Brown - Ashland and Dick (Jane) Brown - Washburn, 2 sisters, Carol (Rudy) Rosin - Ashland and Betty (Jim) Gordier - Ashland and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Julie Fletcher #67074287, a sister, Charlotte Anderson and twin sisters, Geraldine and Judith.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Ashland, with Vicar Rick Williams officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M., Saturday at the church. The Roberts Funeral Home in Ashland, is handling the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church.
