Mrs. Ottie Walker Hitchings, aged 75, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. W. M. Peters, Morrisons, Warwick County, yesterday morning at 2:15 o'clock. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R. M. Warren, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Peters of Morrisons; a son, D. D. Hitchings, of Norfolk; one brother, John Walker, of Norfolk; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hitchings was the widow of D. D. Hitchings and was a native of Lynchburg, but has resided in Norfolk for the last 54 years. She was a member of the Fairmont Park Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, corner Twenty-ninth and Granby streets, tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
