Beverly A. Riley, 67, of Chillicothe, entered the gates of Heaven at 11:15 a.m. on a beautiful Sunday morning on October 20, 2013 at home following a ten year illness with Alzheimer's Disease.

She was born November 25, 1945, in Chillicothe, to the late Albert "Tom" and Frances McWhorter Conaway. On December 30, 1966, she married Donald V. Riley who survives.

Also surviving are her two children, a son, Jeff (Kris) Riley, of Chillicothe; a daughter, Amy (Jeff) Walls, of Bainbridge; five grandchildren, whom she cherished, Erin and Jay Riley, of Chillicothe, Tiffany Walls (fiance, Ryan Appleton), of Dublin, Rachel and Riley Walls, of Bainbridge; an aunt, Dorothy Conaway, of Chillicothe; and best friend since they were 5 years old, Connie (Ken) Harper, of Chillicothe. She was predeceased by several aunts and uncles including Edith Dearth and Nellie Kuhn.

Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a very special group of friends from her 1963 class at Chillicothe High School. She was a secretary for many local attorneys and retired as the Mayor's secretary for the City of Chillicothe. She was a member, and very active until the last few years, of the First United Methodist Church where she was also involved with the Women's Circle. Beverly also supported Habitat for Humanity.

She loved going to NASCAR tracks, Paints games and watching her children and grandchildren with their sports and activities. Beverly and her husband, Don, loved eating out for lunch, especially at Carl's Townhouse. She had the most beautiful smile and could light up a room with her Holy Spirit. The family would like to thank her caregivers and Heartland Hospice for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013 in the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Greg Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware's from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association 1379 Dublin Road Columbus, Ohio 43215 or to the First United Methodist Church 585 E. Main Street Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
