Wilma Jane Saunders, 70, went home to be with her Heavenly Father and loved ones on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at Blumenthal Jewish Home.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at Hanes-Lineberry, Sedgefield Chapel. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
Wilma was born Feb. 27, 1931, in Guilford County, to the late Calvin and Annie Saunders. She grew up in Pleasant Garden and was a member of Pleasant Garden Baptist Church for many years, and most recently a member of North Pointe Fellowship. Wilma was an innocent child of God who loved Jesus, singing hymns, walking and working in the garden.
She was preceded in death by her aunts, Hazel Haas, Irene Shaw and Mary Freeman.
