Yvonne Theresa Gautreaux St. Romain, 72, a native of Mathews and resident of Lockport died on Saturday October 5, 2013.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Chapel in Mathews on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte St. Romain Pitre and husband Chuck, Callie Gautreaux Moore and husband Rashaun; two grandsons, Christopher Pitre and wife Kristen, Calin Pitre and wife Amy; five great grandchildren, Kayla, Chae, Jai, Clay and Tatum; sisters, Pearl Tramontana, Linda Verret and Deborah Champagne; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Joseph St. Romain; parents, Dennis and Anna Gautreaux.
She loved cooking, sewing and spending time with her family and friends.
She was a devoted Saints and L.S.U. fan.
