Julia C. Pinnerud, 89, Dallas, formerly of Chetek/New Auburn died Friday, January 1, 1999 at Dallas Healthcare Center, Dallas.
She was born September 25, 1909 in Dovre Township, rural Chetek, to John and Clara (Arneson) Abrahamson and was married to Carl Pinnerud June 10, 1937 in Chetek.
She was a member of the Dovre Lutheran Church, Dovre Lutheran Women's Aid and Circle. Her church and her family were very important to her.
She is survived by one daughter Janet (Allen) Novak of rural Chetek, one brother Raeigh(Eva) Abrahamson of Kenosha, special friend Morris Hickok of Cameron, five grandchildren, Pam, Jim, Suzie, LeRoy and Danny; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl in 1984, her parents John and Clara (Arneson) Abrahamson; one son David; two granddaughters Michele and Carol; one great grandson Michael; three brothers Lewie, Arthur and Harry and one sister Elsie.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 5, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. at Dovre Lutheran Church, with Pastor Arvid Myrwold officiating Burial was made at Dovre Lutheran Cemetery, Chetek.
