KILGORE - Ola Marie Catchings Foust, 91, of Kilgore, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013.
Visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home in Refugio on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church of Woodsboro at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013, with Dr. Jimmy Arnold, Pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at La Rosa Cemetery.
Marie was born in Beaukiss to Willie and Lillie Catchings on July 8, 1921. She attended and graduated from Woodsboro High School. She was a beautician by trade and enjoyed art, hunting, fishing, and participating in rodeo events. Her deepest love was for her husband and family.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lillie; son, James Perkins; four sisters, Mabel Glenn, Ida Cooper, Willie Horner, and Mary Selig; two brothers, Clarence and Jake Catchings; nephews, Sonny Catchings, Mike Autry, Tommy Linney, Bobby Catchings; and nieces, Colleen Rowland and Kathy Cliffton.
Marie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Arven "Steve" Foust of Kilgore; four sisters, Birdie Capps, Allie Simpson, Opal (Jay) Monrad, and Ivy Autry; daughter, Laurie (Edgar) Graham; two granddaughters, Stacy Graham and Amanda (Scott) Connolly; grandson, James (Erin) Kubena; three great-grandsons, Harrison Kubena, Preston Graham, and Nathan Bear; one great-granddaughter, Lauren Kubena and another great-granddaughter coming in September; and many nieces and nephews.
