Mr Burns joined the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked on several Dam sites for the Corp of Engineers for several years. He retired as a dairy farmer. He enjoyed riding horses & was a member of the Barry County Sheriff's Posse´ for many years. For 15 years he served on the Southwest School Board. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, mowing & he was a real 'duct tape engineer'. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.
