BABB, BETTY JUNE HARVEY - age 83 of the Cave Creek Community, passed away Sunday morning, October 20, 2013 at her home. Betty was a member of Cave Creek Missionary Baptist Church for 62 years and was retired from Baptist Healthcare Center. She was born in Roane County to William Sherman Harvey and Mary Kate (Bailey) Harvey, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Marie Harvey; sisters, Shirley Mae Spears and Sarah Marie Turbeville. Betty is survived by her husband of 63 years, Roy F. Babb; daughter, Mary Ann Dunsmore and Kenny Monger; sons, Roy Babb, Jr. and wife, Lucinda, Charles Babb; grandchildren: Shawn and Charlene Dunsmore, Jason and Susie Babb, Andrea and Travis Farrar, Jamie Dunsmore and Ernie Comer, Sarah Babb, Scott and Amanda Sands; 15 great grandchildren; special caregivers, Lisa Sharpe and Mary Crawley, along with a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating. Family and friends will gather by 10:30 Wednesday morning and proceed to the Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services and interment. Grandsons, Shawn Dunsmore and Jason Babb, and great grandsons: J.P. Dunsmore, Blydge Farrar, Jackson Farrar and Brandon Babb will serve as pallbearers.
