Funeral services for Mrs. Joan Evans Durr, 69, of Epps will be held at 10AM Saturday, November 10, 2007 at the Robinson Baptist Church near Dunn, LA with Rev. Don Thornton officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5-7PM Friday at Robinson Baptist Church.

Burial will be in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Mrs. Durr died Wednesday at Central Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George William Evans Sr. and Sarah Elizabeth Deggans Evans and a brother and sister, Bill and Louise Evans.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph L. Durr of Epps; four daughters, Judy L. Cordova and husband Anthony of Alvarado, TX, Jackie Ann Clark and husband Charles W. Sr. of Delhi, Carolyn Marie Williams and husband Buck of Denham Springs, LA and Sherri J. Mathews and husband Ricky of Epps; five brothers, Carl, Howard and Wayne Evans all of Delhi and George Jr and Marvin Evans both of AL; five sisters, Pansy Garner, Mary Ford and Gladys Cain all of West Monroe, and Betty Graham and Viola Lucas both of Delhi; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Charles W. Clark Jr., James Adam Clark, William Hartford Clark II, Steven Neal Williams, James David Mobley II and James Allen Whorton.
