SNYDER, Alberta P., 85, formerly of Guernsey Street, Bellaire, Ohio, died Sunday, April 6, 2008, in the Forest Hill Retirement Community.
She was born November 17, 1922 in Neffs, Ohio, a daughter of the late Herman and Helen Prouska Perzanowski.
Alberta was a homemaker; and a member of St. John Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, Francis C. Snyder on July 27, 1990; a daughter-in-law, Janice Snyder; and two brothers, Ben and Herman Perzanowski.
Surviving are four children, Cloyd Snyder of Bethesda, Ohio, Claudia Lyon of Gallipolis, Ohio, Cindy Sharpe and her husband, John III, of Bellaire and Alice Fogg and her husband, Paris, of Clearwater, Fla.; along with six grandchildren, Shannon Rowe and her husband, Michael, Eva Lyon, Kayla and Alexis Sharpe and Bill and Roxanne Lyon.
Friends will be received on Friday, April 11, 2008 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441-37th Street, Bellaire.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, with Msgr. Gene Mullett as celebrant.
Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Catholic Church, Bellaire Library, or to the donors choice.
