Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Pierce, 82 who died Sunday at her home in Chula, were held Wednesday afternoon from the Methodist church at Chula, with the Rev. Charles Caldwell of Gallatin officiating. For the funeral music, Mrs. Sam Schmidt and Mrs. Paul Walters sang "In the Garden" and "Sometime We'll Understand" accompanied by Mrs. J.M. Robertson. Pallbearers were Carl Potter, Homer Daniels, Buel Trumbo, Ray Casebeer, Brock Smith and Clifford Case. Burial was in Brown cemetery at Gallatin under direction of the E. J. Robertson Funeral Home.
