Jon E. Weddle, 61, of Brownsburg, Indiana passed away Friday, October 18, 2013. Born May 3, 1952 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Edward and Rosemary (Pritchett) Weddle.

Jon was a 1970 graduate of North Salem High School. He married Nancy J. Baldauf on Feburary 28, 1975 in the Pittsboro Christian Church. Jon was a member of the Pittsboro Christian Church and the Sons of the American Legion, Brownsburg. Jon was a Service Technician for Hobart and later a supervisor for the Town of Brownsburg.

He was preceded by his parents and an infant brother. Surviving are his wife Nancy J. (Baldauf) Weddle, two daughters Emily J. Wasson (Mark), Erica D. Baker (Jarod), a brother Stephen Weddle (Barb), a sister Becky Weddle-Powell and 5 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, October 21, 2013 from 4 to 8 pm at the Pittsboro Christian Church. The funeral service will be at 10:30 am Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the church with Rev. Alan Cloar officiating. Burial will be in the K of P Cemetery at Lizton. Arrangements were entrusted to the David A. Hall Mortuary, Pittsboro.

The family requests donations be made to the Phi Beta Psi Sorority for cancer research.
