Mrs. John Paulicheck
Mary Bouska was born March 25, 1880, on the family homestead south of Munden and departed this life at Narka, January 23, 1938, at the age of 57 years, 9 months and 29 days, the first of eight children to be called away.
When she was a small child the family moved to the Round Grove community near Narka where she grew to womanhood, and where at an early age she was converted into Christian living at the Round Grove Church. She was united with the membership of the Narka Presbyterian church in 1926 and has not only professed but really lived a true Christian life until death. At the age of 18 she prepared herself for the teaching profession and taught two successful terms at Dist. 100. Later she was manager of the dry goods department of the Bouska-Thomas store at Narka.
She was united in marriage to John Paulicheck March 1, 1905, and to this union were born two daughters, Mrs. Edrie Brokesh of Munden and Mrs. Dorothy Mach of Narka, who with their father mourn the loss of a devoted wife and mother.
Besides her lonely husband and grief stricken daughters, she leaves two sisters, Misses Anna and Sophia Bouska of Narka; five brothers, George of Denver, Luther of Randall, Charles and Joe of Haddam, and Toney of Narka; also four grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her kindly smile and friendly words.
Funeral services were conducted from the Presbyterian church in Narka and interment was made at Maple Grove Cemetery
