John Paulicheck, youngest son of John and Mary Dolash Paulicheck, was born January 7, 1881, at Tabor, Kan., and departed this life at Narka on November 1, 1947, at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 25 days.
In 1884 the family moved to a farm near Narka, in which community Mr. Paulicheck has resided most of his life. On March 1. 1905, he was united in marriage to Mary Bouska at Narka. To this union were born two daughters, Edrie and Dorothy. For a few years they lived in Narka where John served the community as drayman. Later they moved to a farm south-east of Narka which was their home until Mrs. Paulicheck passed away January 23, 1938. Since that time he has lived with his daughters, spending some time with his sisters in Clay Center and the last five months with his sister in Narka.
Besides his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and three brothers. He is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Charlie Brokesh and Mrs. Bohman Mach, his son-in-law, six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Schocke, Narka, Mrs. Jennie Orr, and Mrs. Anna Johnson, Clay Center, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in Narka conducted by the Rev. John Frint and interment was made in Maple Grove cemetery at the side of his wife.
