Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. J. C. Raikes, were held at the Baptist Church at Willisburg at two o’clock Sunday afternoon, interment following at Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
The son of John D. and Jane White Keeling, both deceased, Mr. Keeling was born and reared this county and for many years had been successfully engaged in agricultural pursuits. He was a member of the Baptist Church and was for years active in church affairs.
He was twice married, the first marriage being to Miss Elsa Adkins from which union three children survive, Mrs. Irene Martin and John Keeling, Louisville, and Stanley Keeling, now in the U.S. Army. His second marriage was to Mrs. Pearl H. Everton. From this union six children survive. They are Misses Juanita and Doris Keeling, Leon, Melvin, James and Joseph Keeling, all of this county; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Tom Colvin, Willisburg; Mrs. W.M. Kays, this city, and Mrs. Kays, DeKalb, Ill., and two brothers, Hugh Keeling, Willisburg, and Uriah Keeling, DeKalb, Ill.

Elisha M. Keeling married 1st. 4 Nov. 1900 in Washington Co. Ky., Mary A. Perkins. After his first wife's death in 1916, he married 2nd. 12 Dec. 1919 in Jeffersonville, Clark Co. In., Pearl Hagerman.
