He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alice Insley, and five daughters, Mrs. B. R. McElmore, of Beaumont, Tex.; Mrs. T. H. Morris, of Memphis; Mrs. G. W. Montgomery, Mrs. Alice Redmond, Miss Ellen Insley, and one son, W. T. Insley, Jr. of Delhi.
Mr. Insley came from Maryland to Delhi when a young man. For many years he was engaged in merchandising and farming. He had been for many years the Republican leader of Northeastern Louisiana and usually attended the Republican national conventions as a delegate.
