Edward Moses, son of Archie and Deborah Moses, was born at Rutlidge, March 27, 1906 and died at Collins Memorial Hospital, April 4, at the age of 53 years.
He was united in marriage to Mabel M. Brady Nov. 8, 1930 and to this union three children were born.
Survivors are his wife and three children, Ronald V. of Des Moines; Edward Jr. of Ames and Janice M. Beaver of Pershing. Also his mother, Deborah Moses of Oskaloosa; two brothers, David of Rock Island, Ill. and Ernest of Oskaloosa; Deborah Kerr of University Park; Kathryn Beebe of Monroe; one son-in-law, Pvt. Gareth J. Beaver of Ft. Monroe, Va.; one daughter-in-law, Jamiee Moses of Ames; a grandchild, Romia M. Beaver. Three brother-in-laws and five sisters-in-law.
He joined the church Jan. 6, 1959.
Services were held at the first Regular Baptist Church in Knoxille, April 8 and interment at the Zion Cemetery at Pershing.
