The funeral for Robert James Liston, 60, of Collinsville, who died Saturday, July 31, 2004, in Kanawha County, W.Va., of injuries received in a motorcycle accident, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Norris Funeral Services chapel.
Pastor Bud Sedwick will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born Sept. 20, 1943, in Kane, Pa., a son of Cleona Collier Liston of Chesapeake, Ohio, and Elmer Clayton Liston, deceased. He was an Army veteran and retired from Sprint Telecommunications. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy of Fieldale.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Dottie Hager Liston of the home; two daughters, Traci Copley Tomblin of Collinsville and Terri Jo Liston Dionne of Berea, Ky.; four sisters, Connie Lou Sharrow-Combs and Aileen Taylor, both of Huntington, W.Va., Peggy Miller of North Augusta, S.C., and Sandy Liston-Roy of South Point, Ohio; two brothers, Clayton Liston of Delaware and Charlie Liston of Barboursville; and three grandchildren.
The family received friends Tuesday at ChapmanÕs Mortuary in Huntington with Pastor Dan Cupp officiating.
