Funeral services were held for "Andy" Stenehjem, 67, of Arnegard at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, 1975 at the Wilmington Lutheran Church in Arnegard with the Rev. Paul Nelson officiating. Interment was in Wilmington Cemetery, Arnegard, under the direction of Leiseth Memorial Chapel.
Andreas Oliver Stenehjem was born September 26, 1908 in Arnegard the son of Peter and Theoline Stenehjem. Andy was raised and reeived his education in the Arnegard area. He married Thelma Iverson on January 20, 1939 in Rawson They have farmed and lived in the Arnegard area since.
Andy died at the McKenzie County Memorial Hospital in Watford City, Monday November 10, 1975.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma of Arnegard; two sons, Peter Arden Stenehjem of Indianapolis, Indiana and Glenn Oliver Stenehjem of Glasgow, Montana; one daughter, Julie Ann Stenehjem of the family home; two grandchildren, Erin and Garth Stenehjem of Anamoose; and five sisters, Mrs. Gunver Rapsavage of Vancouver, Washington, Mrs. Sigrid Gilmer and Irene - Mrs. Norm Buhman, both of Camas, Washington; Henriette - Mrs. Kenneth Hagen and Anna - Mrs. Loren Pellett.
