Kidd was born June 10, 1985, at Sioux Falls to Michael "Mick" and LaVoy (Koepsell) Kidd. She attended kindergarten in Canova and then Howard School, where she was currently a junior. She had been active in basketball, volleyball, cheerleading and 4-H. She was a flag carrier for the Howard High School marching band.
Survivors include her mother, LaVoy Neises of Howard; her father, Mick (Marsha) Kidd of Canova; a brother, Shawn Kidd at home; three sisters, Carly, Cara and Cally Neises, all at home; and grandparents, Lloyd and Connie Koepsell of Canova, and Beverly Kidd of Howard.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Dave Neises; and her grandfather, Marvin Kidd.
Casketbearers were Jeremy Zens, Eric Jacobson, Brandon and Clark Hoyer, Adam Kowall and Billie Neises. Honorary casketbearers were members of the Howard junior class. Organist was Rod Ulrich, and special music was provided by the Howard junior class.
The Willoughby Funeral Home supervised arrangements.
