Joe B. Dunn, Sr., a resident of Jackson, LA passed away in his home surrounded by family and friends on Oct. 12, 2013 at the age of 86.
Celebrating his memories are two daughters, Deloris Dunn and Debra (Henry) Wright; two sons, Johnny (Barbara) Dunn all of Jackson, LA and Joe B. (Ophelia) Dunn, Jr. of Baton Rouge; three step daughters, Connie (Roosevelt) Wilkerson, Melinda (Elmo) Elliott all of Jackson, LA and Carol Jackson of Wilson, LA;
four grandchildren he help reared, Reginald (Katina) Dunn of Baker, LA, Teayounda Dunn of Zachary, LA, Rhonda (Michael) Williams and Kimberly Dunn of Jackson, LA; two great grandchildren he help rear, DeJarius Dunn and DeAsiaNae Dunn of Jackson, LA;
four sisters, Sarah Dunn, Mary Dixon, Evone Boulanger all of Jackson, LA and Lee Ethel Wilson of Clinton, LA;
two brothers, James Dunn and Alvin (Gloria) Dunn of Jackson, LA;
11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and a host of nephews, cousins and friends.
Visiting at the Mt. Gideon Baptist Church, service, conducted by Pastor Calvin Willis.
Interment at Ft. Missionary Baptist Church, Jackson, LA.
