Phyllis Y. Fitzsimmons, 80, of Pontiac died Friday (Oct. 18, 2013) at her residence.
She was born Oct. 19, 1933 in Fairbury, the daughter of Clarence Lee and Lillie Mae Dart Brown. She married Matthew C. Fitzsimmons on Aug. 3, 1953 in Dallas. He died June 18, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
Surviving is her brother, Jim Brown.
She spent more than 30 years working as the owner and operator of Matt's Place in Pontiac.
