Richard Anderson Sr., age 75, of Cleveland, Ohio, and formerly of Uledi, Pa., passed away Thursday, July 21, 2005, in Hospice Western Reserve, Cleveland, Ohio.
He was born December 25, 1929, in Uniontown, Pa., son of Laymon Anderson and Genevieve (Lockette) Anderson.
He was a former member of Shiloh Baptist Church, graduated from the now former South Union High School in 1949 and later moved to Cleveland where he worked as a Dental Technician until retirement.
He was predeceased by his parents, a son, Dale Lynn Anderson, brother, James Anderson Sr., and sisters, Genevieve Davis, Betty Fairfax, Yvonne Lawrence and Phyllis Ramsey.
Surviving are his former wife, Henrietta Anderson Davis, Uniontown, Pa.; children: Sharon Green, Willingboro, New Jersey, Deborah Rowell and husband Vandyke, Mount Laurel, New Jersey, Richard Anderson Jr. and wife Loretta, Brownsville, Pa., and Gerald Anderson, Everson, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister and brothers: Loraine Tarpley, Uniontown, Pa., Laymon Anderson Jr. and wife Audrey, Cleveland, Ohio, Norman Anderson and wife Carolyn, Pittsburgh, Pa., William Anderson, McClellandtown, Pa., the Rev. Owen Anderson and wife Virginia, Hiller, Pa., Marvin Anderson, Springdale, Maryland, and Clinton Anderson, Uledi, Pa.; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
