The accident occurred near Copenhagen Prairie, about 12 miles south of here.
She was taken to Caldwell hospital in Columbia, but died on the way. Sheriff G. E. Erskine said. It is believed that her neck was broken in the fall and that she died within 15 minutes after the accident, Sheriff Erskine stated.
The child is survived by her parents, five brothers, Alvin, Bowen, Quipman [sic Quitman], Roy, and J. C., and two sisters, Cleo and Mrs. Rosamond Jones of Natchitoches.
The Ziegler [sic Zeaglers] reside on United States highway 165 between Grayson and Clarks.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.
