NATCHITOCHES (Special) -- Funeral services for Bowen V. Zeagler, 44, who was burned to death in his home here Wednesday night, were scheduled for 3 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church of Columbia, with the Revs. J. R. Hearron and Jimmy Bolton officiating.
Interment was to be in Welcome Home cemetery under direction of Riser and Son.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bessie Zeagler, Natchitoches; a stepson, Gerald McBride, Shreveport; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Zeagler, Grayson; two sisters, Mrs. Cleo Pontifl, New Orleans, Mrs. Rosamond Jones, Minden; three brothers, Alvin Zeagler, New Orleans; CS-1 Roy Zeagler, U.S. Navy, Key West, Fla.; and Quitman Zeagler, Columbia.
Pallbearers were to be Leroy Mixen, William Richardson, James Cruse, Lance Arthur, Bill Tolliver, Julius McNeamer and S. E. Fisher.
