Clyde Edward Smith, 83, of Aurora died June 12. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, at Drinkwine Family Chapel with burial in Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Smith was born in Emerson, Iowa, on March 22, 1915. He was a general contractor in the construction business and member of the VFW. Survivors include sons John A. of Aurora, Michael A. and Paul D., both of Denver; daughter Kyla D. Juvanen of Denver; sister Mae Slagle of Nebraska; 10 grandchildren.
