ST. PAULS — Leona R. Fields, 88, of St. Pauls, entered into eternal rest on Oct. 13, 2013.

The funeral will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Life Center, Pastors Raymond Fairclith Sr. and Michael Gist officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

She was the oldest charter member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church (The Life Center), was on the Silver Saints Board and the Womens Ministry Board and taught Sunday cchool for several years.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Fields and Cornie Barnhill; her sons, Jessie Barnhill, Randy Barnhill, Berry Barnhill, Radford Barnhill and Bobby Dale Barnhill.

She is survived by her daughter, Helen Barnhill Barringer; her sisters, Grace Saunders, Dorothy Hemmingway; her stepsons, Milton Fields, Harold Fields and Jerry Fields; her stepdaughter, Mary Lois McDonald; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The visitation for family and friends will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday before the service.
