Wayne Click, 94, Scottsburg, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013. Born Feb. 17, 1919 in Washington County, he was the son of Elwood and Mattie Hope Frederick Click. He retired from Morgan Packing Company, Austin and retired groundskeeper at Scottsburg High School. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Click, Scottsburg; five daughters, Betty (Bill) Roseberry, Austin, Peggy (Bob) Owens, Deputy, Janet (David) Wells, Scottsburg, Jennifer (James) Burton, Pekin and Phyllis (Darrel) Carmean, Indianapolis; two sons, Donald Click and Philip Click, both of Scottsburg; two sisters, Bonnie Jean Gilstrap, Salem and Katie Riggle, Georgetown; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter; brothers, Hobart Click, Pete Click, Russell Click and Bruce Click; and a sister, Mabel Click. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 1:30 p.m. at Stewart & Hoagland Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Johns officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
