Mrs. Patricia Ann Deen "Pat Pat", 67, formerly of Waresboro, died Friday afternoon at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida after and extended illness. She was born in Waycross to the late Cecil W. Davis and Lucy Spence Davis. She had made Waresboro her home for most of her life. Mrs. Deen loved kids, and spent her life working as a nanny caring for many children. When living in Waresboro, she enjoyed visiting numerous churches in the community. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Shiver, a son, Lewis Westberry, and a sister, Dolly York.

Mrs. Deen is survived by a daughter, Janet Bell and her husband Ricky of Waycross, two grandsons, Warren Turner and his wife Casey of Hoboken, Matthew Turner and his wife Samantha of Waycross, a granddaughter, Kimberly Dixon and her husband Rick of Blackshear, ten great grandchildren, Kobie, Kloie, Tessa, Layla, Kali, Timothy, Taylor, Cammie, Cole, Kaden, a brother, Dan L. Davis and his wife Maurine of Chicago, Illinois, a sister, Mary Turner and her husband Darrell of Alma and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday in the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Waresboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
