Carl D. Felter, 55, of St. Marys, died Monday evening at St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg. He was born in Pleasants County, a son of Sara C. Peckens of St. Marys. He was a retired employee from the West Virginia Department of Highways. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Carl Wayne Felter of St. Marys; three brothers, Robert Peckens of Sistersville, and Donald and Jack Peckens, both of St. Marys; eight sisters, Joan Sayres and Nancy Peters, both of St. Marys, Patty King of Canton, OH, Sue Stephens and Lucy Felter, both of Waverly, Diana Rittenhouse of Vienna, Dorothy Thomas of Newport, OH, and Patricia Sue Peckens of St. Marys. The funeral will be at 11am Saturday at the Ruttencutter Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial in the IOOF Cemetery in St. Marys.
