HUDSON FALLS, N.Y. - Burton Millard Phillips, age 67, of Lower Maple Street, passed away on Thursday, July 16th 1981 at the Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls, N.Y.

Mr. Phillips was born on June 15th 1914 in Vergennes, Vt.. he was the son of Jacob and Grace (English) Phillips.

He married the former Teresa Leppard on October 4th 1939 in Hudson Falls, New York.

He was a retired Construction Worker, having been employed by LaRose Construction Co. and Decan Construction Co., both in Glens Falls, N.Y.

Besides his wife, survivors are: two sons; Roy Phillips of Fort Edward and William Phillips of Hudson Falls, N.Y., three daughters; Mrs. Roger (Janice) Williams and Mrs. Emilio (Charyl) Natale, both of Fort Edward, N.Y., and Mrs. Robert (Patricia) LaPoint of Brandon. Vt., nine grandchildren, a great-grandson, two brothers; Howard Phillips of Maine and Norman Phillips of Argyle, N.Y., and four sisters; Mrs. Arthur (Verna) Forrest of Brandon, Vt., Mrs. Howard (Mildred) Tilton of California, Mrs. Richard (Beaulah) Forrest of Middle Granville, N.Y., and Mrs. Ernest ( Margaret ) Phillips of West Glens Falls, N.Y.

Arrangements by the Carleton Funeral Home on 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls, N.Y.

Interment will be in Hebron Cemetery.
