Funeral director, magazine publisher. From the best I can gather, he and his brother Charles established the 'Pacific Coast Undertaker' magazine, a trade journal devoted to the funeral home of the Western United States. The name changed to 'Mortuary Management' in 1926. I believe he also took over the Curry Funeral Home in Richmond, California sometime after Bert Curry's death in 1930. Unfortunately some sort of financial reversals resulted in him murdering his wife and 2 young daughters at the family home and then taking his own life.
