Asheboro, March 28 -- Funeral services were held this afternoon at 3 O'clock in the First M. E. church. The Rev. B. C. Reavis, conducted the services for Mrs. H. T. Caviness, prominent Asheboro woman, who died Monday night.

Mrs. Caviness was the wife of the late Henry T. Caviness, well-known business man of Randolph County, who died just four months ago.

Before her marriage, she was Miss Lydia Ann Lowdermilk. She was raised near Brower's Mill in Randolph County.
